“De corpo e Palabra” — Dance, Theater, Poetry and Music
From body to word it has traveled through poetry through the language of dance and theater. At the same time, it is a piece of loita against a social and economic system that traps us. With live poetry by Eva Veiga and Andrea Nunes and the voice and sound environment of a musical collage by Su Garrido.
A tribute to the Mexican world of words and how they inhabit all types of bodies. Inclusive dance and theater show where the cast includes people with diverse backgrounds. A proposal by Experimentadanza, directed by Carlota Pérez, which seeks to create a new language of fusion dance and word using texts by Rosalía de Castro, Xela Arias or Lorca.
Andrea Nunes
Feminist writer and activist. He links his poetic activity with LGBTQI+ activism since his beginnings. He published works such as Corrente do esquecemento e os seus verses inhabit numerous magazines and collective anthologies.
Su Garrido
Singer-songwriter and composer with training in musicology. His style embraces genres such as bossa, folk, jazz or Latin. Awarded in competitions such as the Narf Award (2018) or the Xove Music Competition.
