REDE MUSEÍSTICA PROVINCIAL DE LUGO

The SacraExperience Association, since 2025, has focused its festival on different spaces in the Ribeira Sacra of the Miño River, including the museums of the Lugo Provincial Museum Network, during the months of May and June 2026. To have the opportunity to generate a rich program from and for the community that is presented and collected by heritage and cultural reference environments such as the Lugo Provincial Museum Network.

In this way COMMUNITY-MUSEO SACRA EXPANDIDO is established as a regular event of expanded programming of the festival, a programming that focuses on community projects to give prominence to the people who inhabit the landscape. A meeting of arts in dialogue with heritage spaces of the province of Lugo such as Pazo de Tor, Provincial Museum of Lugo, Museum of San Paio de Narla and Museum of the Sea of ​​San Cibrao. which deepens the interests of the Association, giving a definitive turn to a more common festival format, and decentralizing the programming, giving special importance to how the shows, forums, fashion shows and video creations display dialogue in these spaces that refer to the cultural activity of the rural environment. Performing arts artists primarily who dialogue and co-create with the Community in previous projects that give rise to samples of work and others of them who seek to propose pieces specific to the festival.

Dedicating a very significant part to groups at risk of social exclusion. Those who are often prevented from accessing quality culture due to their location or social and economic class.

That is why in this project, there is a firm commitment to creative processes where the protagonists are the Communities. Giving voice to many people who until now were invisible and, often, not empowered.

Repopulation through Culture.
Culture as an engine of change to intervene in the Territories, especially villages and towns in the interior of Lugo. Within this programming, we propose performing and musical arts programming and collective thinking days, for adults and for the youngest, who are the ones who can truly fight for this emptied Galicia.
