Solange Marchant
“ECOS” — Cycle Women in Dance
Solange Marchant explores the limits of the body through contemporary dance, Butoh and Contact. Her international training took her from the University of Arts in Santiago de Chile to Barcelona, where she specialized in body expression and dramatic art at the prestigious Jessica Walker Laboratory.
The piece “ECOS” is the result of deep research into movement and breathing, disciplines that Solange also masters as a Hatha Yoga instructor, fusing physical well-being with stage power.
Career and Residencies
He obtained various artistic residencies in centers of reference such as the Centro Cívico de Drassanes (Barcelona) with the piece “Hei Arribat” and the Centro Cívico de Sabadell with the project “Etairas”.
She has participated in numerous productions at the Festival del Laboratorio in Barcelona and was part of the Corpos en Viaxe collective. She currently works as an actress and dancer at the Colectivo Diversos in A Coruña.
